Meet our Facilitator

Rose majored in Fine Arts, and taught animation and creative arts in higher education
for 18 years in Melbourne. Rose learned piano as a child but didn’t pursue music
seriously until, jobless at 62, she decided to learn the violin. How hard could that be?
Very hard! But discovering Celtic music was the key to gaining the confidence to enjoy
playing with others. From absolute beginner five years ago to hosting musical get-
togethers, Rose is now a competent intermediate fiddle player keen to encourage
others to take up instrumental music practice again.
