Reynard Street Neighbourhood House currently offers a variety of hospitality classes for different interests and skill levels.

Pathway to Hospitality (Starting in Term 2, 2022)

 

Taste of Hospitality is perfect for those considering entering the world of hospitality. Gain lifelong skills and knowledge that can be used as a pathway into future hospitality courses such as Certificate II in Hospitality or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or use this course to pathway directly into paid work. 

This short course allows learners to ‘get a taste’ of the various aspects of the hospitality industry with a focus on building confidence, providing great customer service and learning how to operate the coffee machine like a pro!

10-week course, 6 hours per week: every Weds & Thurs, 1 – 4pm

$180 full fee / $120 concession

This course will commence when we have enough participants expressing interest.

Inclusive Cooking Group

 

This weekly community cooking group is designed to help participants develop fundamental cooking skills in an inclusive environment. People living with disabilities and their carers are encouraged to participate. Plan and prepare a new meal each week!

Tuesdays, 2pm – 5pm

$100/$50 concession (10 weeks)

Community Kitchen

 

A friendly, inclusive and fun group of people who come together to cook and share an affordable and nutritious meal. With the support of a facilitator, the group will choose which recipes they would like to learn, and enjoy developing various skills. Please note that this group is exclusive to people over 50-year-olds.
