Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to contribute to our local community.

Previously, we had volunteers in grant writing, multimedia, event management, empowering community resilience, and admin assistance.

Here are some of the volunteer opportunities currently available:

  • Building Services
Help us keep our facilities looking great: general maintenance and light gardening duties. 2-4 hours per week
  • Videography and Marketing
Help us get the word out to the wider community! We are looking for someone with a creative flair who understands how to best capture the ethos and values of RSNH in video format. short-term and ongoing volunteer roles available.

Please send an enquiry if you have interests and skills in areas which are not currently advertised!

We also welcome work experience placements for tertiary students undertaking courses relevant to working in the community. If you have time and skills to offer over an extended period you may be able to lead in the creation of a new community project or activity.

Corporate Volunteering: Partner with us to strengthen our community

At RSNH, we believe that strong communities are built when local people and local businesses work together. Corporate volunteering gives your team the chance to contribute time, skills and energy to meaningful community projects.

Your team could:

  • Revive our community garden

  • Support community lunches or events

  • Share professional skills — marketing, IT, design, admin

We tailor every experience to your team’s size, interests, and skills. Whether it’s a hands-on day or a skill-sharing project, you’ll see the difference you make.
