Food will be lovingly prepared by our volunteers, and we’ll do our best to accommodate dietary needs and cultural considerations, so everyone can join in the feast.

Please note: this is a ticketed event, and proceeds will go towards supporting our hardworking volunteers who have donated their time, energy and tireless effort into making Reynard Street Neighbourhood House flourish.

Exciting news alert! We have partnered with @gri Exciting news alert!

We have partnered with @grilldburgers Coburg North as part of their Local Matters initiative. This month, when you visit Grill’d, you can support us in the simplest (and tastiest) way possible. Just pop your bottle cap into our jar!

Every cap counts and helps us make a bigger impact in the community. So grab a burger, enjoy your meal, and don’t forget to put your cap in our jar to show your support. And, of course, a very big thank you to those who have shown their support thus far ✨✨
Plant Sale This Friday and Saturday! After a lot Plant Sale This Friday and Saturday!

After a lot of love and attention, these lil seedlings are ready to find their forever homes 🌷 Stop by RSNH on November 7 and 8 to purchase heirloom tomato, salvias, lilly pilly plants, indigenous seedlings, and more!

Seedlings starting from $2 per plant.
See you there folks :)
It was propogation day with the Urban Food Gardeni It was propogation day with the Urban Food Gardening crew! All smiles from the participants led by our program facilitator, Jemma.

Propagation is one of the simplest and most rewarding ways to fill your space with greenery, no matter how limited it is. It’s budget-friendly, because you can multiply your plants without spending anything extra. A single cutting in water or soil can quickly become a new addition to your collection. It’s also perfect for smaller urban spaces. Propagating doesn’t require much room — a few jars on a windowsill or shelf are all you need to get started. For renters or those with limited space, it’s especially practical. Smaller propagated plants are easy to move when you relocate, and they make great gifts or parting tokens when you leave a space behind.

If you haven’t tried it yet, we still have spots left in our Urban Gardening Group on Saturdays from 9:30am-12:30pm. Contact us at admin@rsnh.org.au if you would like to book a spot!🌷✨
Reynard Street Neighbourhood House has always been Reynard Street Neighbourhood House has always been a place where people come together. Every week, we see how much these connections matter. From English classes and community lunches to playgroups and gardening, our house gives people a sense of purpose and a place to be part of something bigger.

But right now, keeping our doors open is becoming harder. Rising costs are affecting how effectively we can continute operating, and current government funding has not kept up with the progressive inflation. We are doing everything we can to stay sustainable, but despite our best efforts, neighbourhood houses all across Victoria are operating at a loss.

With your help, we are calling on the state government to increase funding by 25% to keep our doors open and continue providing support and connection to our communities. You can help by dropping into the house to sign a postcard to MP Peter Spence, asking to #KeepNHDoorsOpen. Your voice helps remind decision-makers how vital neighbourhood houses are to the wellbeing of our community.
Important Update: Spring Festival & Garage Sale Tr Important Update: Spring Festival & Garage Sale Trail Cancelled

The Spring Festival and Garage Sale Trail, originally planned for Saturday, November 8, has been cancelled. However, we’d still love to see you!

On Friday November 7, we’ll be holding a small plant sale and our community café will be open! It’s a great opportunity to drop in, say hello, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

Reynard Street Neighbourhood House is currently in a period of transition.
While some events are on hold, we’re working to come back stronger with more activities and opportunities for connection in the new year. Thank you for your continued support and understanding folks.

In the meantime, we still have our End of Year Party on the 12th of December!
Save the Date – End of Year Party
We’ll be celebrating the end of the year together — details to come soon.
