Safe to say, we’re completely smitten and equally baffled! How has a goat ended up at the House?!

We gathered to thank our volunteers yesterday and We gathered to thank our volunteers yesterday and to celebrate their dedication to RSNH and the community.

Most of the volunteers have been with us for many years, helping in the garden, kitchen, cafe and with administrative tasks.

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce Mika, the We are absolutely thrilled to introduce Mika, the facilitator guiding our upcoming Miso Making Workshop!

Originally from Japan, Mika brings an organic connection to traditional fermentation, beautifully layered with her life here as a barista, graphic designer, and backyard farmer. As a self-confessed DIY wellness enthusiast, she lives and breathes the art of crafting things from scratch.

Miso Making with Mika- Meet our Facilitator!

For Mika, fermentation is far more than just a recipe—it is a creative, mindful lifestyle. Her genuine wish to see people stay healthy and become more intentional about what they eat is the very heartbeat of this workshop.

Bringing years of hands-on experience and a refined sense of craft, she is incredibly generous in sharing her lived knowledge and the deeper cultural heritage of te-mae-miso (homemade miso).

We can’t wait for you to sit around the table with us, absorb her wisdom, and take home your very own living batch of miso to nurture.

See you at the workshop!
