Free Homemade Frozen Meals

While we aren’t able to all enjoy a meal together with our Community Lunches on hold, we are still cooking free homemade meals for takeaway! Prepared weekly on Wednesdays with rescued and surplus food provided by Open Table, we are cooking up healthy and delicious meals for takeaway.

Pick up between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Friday.

Please Note: All community meals have been postponed due to physical distancing requirements and Covid-19. We hope to hold our free community meals again as soon as possible. Please feel free to get in touch for more information.

Through our partners, Open Table and Correctional Services, rescued and surplus food is used to make a delicious and healthy feast for everyone to enjoy. Our free monthly community lunches are well attended, with returning patrons bringing neighbours, family and friends.

Using surplus food from the local area and with the help of volunteers, we serve up hearty, vegetable-based meals with the goal of developing community cohesion and unity, whilst tackling the growing issue of food insecurity.

Through a shared meal, we aim to create a stronger understanding and appreciation for our diverse community and also provide the opportunity to strengthen social skills for everyone wishing to participate.
