While we aren’t able to all enjoy a meal together with our Community Lunches on hold, we are still cooking free homemade meals for takeaway! Prepared weekly on Wednesdays with rescued and surplus food provided by Open Table, we are cooking up healthy and delicious meals for takeaway.
Pick up between 10am and 3pm, Monday to Friday. Please call 9386 7128 to organise pick up.
Please note: This program is on hold from December 17, 2020 to January 21, 2021. For information on other organisations running food relief programs during this time, please click here.

Through our partners, Open Table and Correctional Services, rescued and surplus food is used to make a delicious and healthy feast for everyone to enjoy. Our free monthly community lunches are well attended, with returning patrons bringing neighbours, family and friends.
Using surplus food from the local area and with the help of volunteers, we serve up hearty, vegetable-based meals with the goal of developing community cohesion and unity, whilst tackling the growing issue of food insecurity.
Through a shared meal, we aim to create a stronger understanding and appreciation for our diverse community and also provide the opportunity to strengthen social skills for everyone wishing to participate.
Come and join us for a delicious dinner and dessert. Everyone is welcome, just come as you are. Organised and run by The Parish of the Presentation of Our Lord.
